Thought I would just post a few random pictures from way back. Ed and I went to support The Freshman at their public performance at the Esplanade a couple of weeks ago. They are ex-contestants from Project Superstar back in 2006 and they’re about to launch their first duet album on the 6th of Sept! So do check them out guys! :)

And a few random food shots. Souperlicious is like the Suntec staple for me haha esp now that there is a direct exit from the Promenade MRT! Uber coolness. Now I nolonger have to stop at Cityhall MRT and wind through the never ending CityLink followed by several blocks in Suntec before reaching EngWah *yay*!

Then there is the Vivocity staple from Honeymoon Dessert and the MUST TRY mango pomelo, it is solid stuff peeps!

Okie, a pretty random post but hope it did manage to keep you entertain for at least 15seconds :) Till then!

Look at what came in the mail today? My Nuffnang payout!! This is the first time I cash out my earnings from Nuffnang so I’m super duper thrilled. Many thanks to my faithful readers because you guys have a huge part in this. Not forgetting the countless Search Engine referrers :))

I’ll be resuming this space in full force pretty soon, right now planning another trip back to Taiwan but Daddy just dropped the bomb on me that he is coming over here next week. Kinda messed up my initial plans because it’s pretty silly to go back if he coming over. I’ll keep you guys posted.

In the meantime, have fun in whatever you do guys :) Life is good :D Oh yes! This is not something I usually do but here’s an amazing account of how a girl went from 98.8kg to losing 35kg and became super pretty (relatively). A great motivation to girls out there who are trying to lose weight, nothing is impossible! Check This out (it’s in chinese but the I think the pictures speak for itself)

It’s been a while since we’ve seen more than 2 babies in a single batch, all by the same mum!! We’ve been staring at 1 or 2 babies for the past 1 year so this batch came as a complete surprise. The down side is that they’re all green (yes, not blue) nevertheless, it’s going to be so fun raising 6 babies all at one go! Not to mention that Titan and Raffles are both nesting so we’re gonna see a sea of parrotlets very soon (approx 10 babies in total)!

As you can see, the elder 3 are a lot more grown up compared to the pinkish ones. We took them out a week earlier and they’ve become extremely bonded. Haha, yes so we’re experiencing a clique crisis here. The spikey ones with the spikey, hairless with the hairless. LOL!
Aint they adorable? :))

I’m sure by now most of you have heard or visited the famous Ippudo SG for their AWESOME authentic Japanese Ramen. Ramen lovers now have another reason to rejoice, Ippudo opened a brand new outlet at UE Square today! (Today is the official opening, soft launch started about a week ago and early birds like Ed and myself were fortunate enough to dine there beforehand). This outlet is a collaboration between TAO Entertainment and Ippudo. According to the official site, Ippudo views its shops as a stage while TAO is a leading Japanese drum performance group. This collaboration aims to merge entertainment and ramen, not forgetting to showcase “Cool Japan” to the world. If this isn’t alluring enough, maybe you’ll be thrilled to hear that you can add Ippudo TAO to your list of supper hot spots! From Mon-Thur, Tao Ippudo opens till midnight, for Fri & Sat it’s all the way till 2am! Operating hours for Sundays are 11am-11pm.

With the new collaboration, we can definitely expect new additions to the dining menu. Ippudo added 2 new flavours which the ramen master has specially created for this collaboration – TAO Kuro & TAO Aka
TAO Kuro (Black) features Shoyu tonkotsu broth topped with thick chunky juicy Bara Chashu (pork belly), flavoured black fungus, a special blend miso paste (umami-dama) and garlic fragrant oil. TAO Aka (Red) features thin curly noodles which come in 3 different textures (soft, medium, hard) in tonkotsu soup base blended with fish stock, spicy miso paste, juicy chunky Bara Chashu (pork belly), spring onions and garlic oil! I ABSOLUTELY ABSOLUTE LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE BOTHHHHH FLAVOURS TO DEATH, FRIGGGIN FRIGGGIN AWESOME! You MUST MUST try out these 2 flavours. I don’t think the TAO Aka was spicy at all but Ed found it so, nonetheless – MUST TRY!

There was also another new opening which we tried along the Clark Quay area – Marble Slab Creamery. They do have quite a wide variety of ice cream flavours but honestly it’s way overpriced, decent but not fantastic. Take a look at the cups below, they’re supposed to be medium but don’t they look like small? To spend $8 for a medium cup that is the size of a S elsewhere, I won’t recommend it guys.

Personal entries will be backlogged for a while, till then guys! :)
