teepee has been super busy and hence the lack of updates. sputtering has began once again. gonna finish my last 3 samples on monday then i’m done!! hoooorraaayyy!!! on a super happy note, jacq and i went to get our nails done today! i called up at least like 10 nail salons (including home based ones), they are all fully booked till new year!! lol! girls’ obsessions with pretty nails. anw! i was lucky enuff to find one vacant home based nail salon slot for today! it’s even more perfect that it’s only 4 bus stops away from where we live! so the 2 of us went down to get our fresh nail extensions! it’s actually jacq’s first time and she’s super excited!

we both opted for gel extensions. previously i did acrylic extensions. in order to do fresh gel extensions, i’ve to first soak off the acrylic. it was one surprisingly long soak! anw, here’s a shot of my french tip extensions prior to gel coating. looks very scary i know. the end result is really pretty!! i opted for french gel extensions while jacq went for 3D nail sculpture.

the nail lady had a super cute crossbreed called baby. she rolls over on her belly each time u stroke her on the back. damn cute! her tiny paws and gentle touch is a very refreshing change from monstrous lashe. lol!

the lady is very nice. she lets us try different colours and patterns. we were allowed to keep changing our minds! and her rates are incredibly cheap!! with an extra CNY surcharge of $10+ my acrylic soak off + a brand new set of french gel extensions = $110!! jacq’s 3D sculpture+ gel extensions + CNY surcharge of $10 is also $110! the 2 of us came home happy and pretty :)  i’ll try to do up the review for IQQU acne serum SOON! and also our newly organised room with new sofa bed from ikea! :) till then!

when u see a lack of updates, it means either tp is super busy ORRRR she didnt take any pics on her days out. last week i was out for the entire week and the exhaustion was beyond words. i want to write a review on the IQQU acne serum, it’s been amazing! i’ll HIGHLY recommend it to everyone out there. yes, both guys and girls (even edward tried it hahaha). i’m currently waiting for my parcel to come in and hopefully b4 CNY cuz i desperately need that pair of new heels for new year. also, a new site to recommend to girls out there who share the same passion for online shopping. the shipping deal is gooodddd. but all that will only come AFTER i decide to stop bumming which i hope is abt soon :)

 with so many good reviews and michelle phan totally standing by this acne serum, i’ve been eyeing on it for sometime now. finally got my ass down to get it. performance aside, this product is uber cheap. for 30ml, it’s only 25USD! it’s honestly the cheapest serum i’ve ever used but if it works, why not? hee :) here’s my IQQU parcel! it took abt 1 week to reach after placing an order online.

will let u guys noe if it does wonders. now it’s prob not too good a time since the period cycle just ended which means it’s good skin week! haha, ok, too much info there. either way, we’ll put it to the test in 2 weeks time! :)

so today the bf and i went out to do some CNY shopping. it’s been very productive. Mango’s new collection is my latest love. perfect cut, perfect style, even the prices are getting insanely perfect :) the bf is trying out a whole new style. cant wait to share the pics. soon peeps! for now, here’s a lovely dinner at Shokudo. i really liked the Kim Chi Pork. the guy was super generous with the kimchi and it was yummy sour! the omu rice hamburg is a good order for someone who wants a wholesome meal. i esp love the egg and tomato rice :)

 to end this short post with my lovely lashe. she looks right into the camera and she noes how to camwhore too! hahaha :) this is me when i’m at home. hair combed back and clipped. it’s my way of giving my forehead time to breathe. helps to prevent pimples for girls with fringe! afterall, who cares how chui u look when u’re at home right? :)

alright. too much bumming arnd. GOTTA START DOING SOME WORK TML! (i’ve been saying that for abt 3 weeks now. DIEEE!)

we’ve been buying the doggie underwear which kept failing us. somehow the plastic tears all the time. in the end we decided we’re gonna go human. so we got her a baby cotton underwear. cut out the nose to make room for the tail. hahaha. hilarious isnt it?

while walking through the NUS bazaar, the bf was totally captivated by this.

the title of this post prob gave it away. hahaha. these are not blocks of chocolates! these are iPhone covers! very cool right? its even got a cookie fragrant to it. ahhh, how i love my new camera. lol! very random i know! heh!

we each got one. the lighter one is ed’s milk chocolate bar while i got the dark chocolate bar. HEE :)

after being told that Victoria’s Secret opened a store in Resort World Sentosa, i dragged the bf there on the very next day. wad surprises me was that i wasnt aware of this earlier. i didnt even catch wind, not ANY on VS opening a store in singapore. i was a little suspicious on the lack of publicity on the first ever VS store outside US & Canada. anyhow, being a VS shopper myself, i was buzzing with excitement. in order to avoid the crowd, i dragged the bf there arnd 3pm on a friday afternoon (didnt think lunch time will be wise just in case the OLs decide to sacrifice their lunch for VS shopping). but when i got there and saw the store. i went.. WT*?! not only was the shop miserably tiny. it’s like hmmm.. let’s see. the typical size of a Breadtalk shop? or a typical size of Bodyshop maybe? basically, it was UBER TINY! that aside. when i saw the miserable selection of items being sold there, my heart just sank! i’ve no idea why i didnt take any pics on the shop’s interior to better illustrate my point on the miserable selection of items. i think i must have been too heartbroken. the store sold pyjamas, freaking a lot of VS body lotion/shower cream and other useless liquid nonsense which we can easily get from Sasa or Sephora. for lingerie, they sold thongs and lace undies which sells for USD$25 for 7 online. they dont even look buy-worthy. how can they not sell bras?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?! seriously. they dont even have swim wear!! that’s like Breadtalk not selling bread and Starbucks not selling coffee! i did not expect to see their clothing line since i was told previously that the VS store itself is very different from its online store. so i was mentally prepared for that. other than a tiny portion of accessories which look somewad chic still, there is completely no redeeming grace for the very tragic first VS store outside US & Canada.

if u survived reading that chunk. here’s the only snap i got of the store. hahaha.  trust me, i was only smiling becuz i’m on camera. haha!

the other parts of the resorts were a lot better. bf says it’s like a Genting in singapore. though the hotel’s reno looks somewad not classy enough, i do like the high ceilings and spaciousness of it all. i esp like the whole neon lights and nature surround sound at the escalator tunnel :)

as promised, i’m here to do a pictorial post on my fav frozen yoghurt stall – Yigloo! with all the goodness said in the post below, here’re some shots of the cute eye catching interior. they used to allow customers to do their own yoghurts. so u can swirl in as many rounds of frozen yoghurt as u please (without spilling of cuz). they’ve abolished that allowance so now their staff perform the filling for u. i’m prob one of their biggest fan. i’m there 3-4 times a week! ed calls me the yigloo addict. hahaha!

here’s a shot of their white furry interior. a very simple design that draws everyone’s attention as they walk by.

here’s wad we ate today. not exactly the most amazing pic. hahaha. cuz we tried to pile in as much toppings as we can. the way to do it is simply to press the toppings in. which explains why the fillings are so flat. believe it or not. we squeezed in strawberries, kiwi, nata de coco, blueberries and attap seeds! on original and wild berries yoghurt :))

went down to Downtown East Coasta Sands Resort to surprise our dearest bday girl yeeshih. the plan was that we will all be dressed in pink while the bday girl was told the dress code is yellow. it was a cozy event where only close friends are invited. the cozy setting made everyone feel really comfortable :) here’s our bday girl!

heading the team of pinkies is none other than the big OLD sister yeeling (hahaha, just kidding. she is going to come after me for this) we camped behind the door for the longest time becuz they cldnt quite catch when the star was gonna arrive. the cake softened from the heat and the candles started sinking into the jelly. hahaha, no wonder ys complained abt the state of her bday cake. lol!

our bday girl is super camera shy. and it doesnt help that the big “old” sister keeps disturbing her by asking her to do solo shots. tsk tsk!!

u gotta admit that age is definitely catching up on us. but thankgod i wasnt the oldest there! hahaha, when i met ys she was only in primary sch lar! and look at her now, all grown up and 22 alr!!!! -faints- but nobody beats the mother hen. muwahahahaha. ok, edward also. the 2 oldies belong to the 1985 era~~ the whole time yl was trying to steam us alive with her fierce bbq smoke. but the food was good! esp the curry and sausages. hahaha, yl! i say ur sausage nice leh, so dont come after me for disclosing ur age online k? HEH! :)

ed and i were craving for some chinese food so we decided to eat Din Tai Fung. every single outlet we know is forever crowded so imagine our joy when we found the outlet at 313@Somerset with no queue!

this is probably as close to home as i can get. something remotely similar to the yummy food i get back though i must recommend everyone to try the authentic Din Tai Fung if u get a chance to visit taiwan. it’s not only cheaper, it also tastes better!! :) either way, we were still very pleased with wad we had. the bf ate the Hong You Chao Shou for the first time and he really liked it :) it’s my ultimate fav. something that i’ll always eat when i go back home. there is this tiny shop near my house that sells the most amazing chao shou. like no other. *drools*

been stocking up on some make up tools for the past week. searching for the ideal bronzer and slanted blush brushes and i finally found sth i fancy. a new slimming cream. i know i know. stop screaming. hahaha, a girl can always do with an inch less rightttyyy? (ok, stop giving me those stares) if i do lose an inch i’ll let u guys noe. heh.

alrighty. off to remove my mask. nights peeps!
